T.A. Meyers 

I write from the heart and I wear it on my sleeve.  I live in Cincinnati Ohio and use my city as a backdrop to many of my stories.  I pull from my many paranormal investigations and personal ghost stories.  I've done extensive research in local urban legends and dark history.  I try to incorporate those stories in my writing, creating fictional characters out of real events.

I was born in Mons Belgium to a military father.  I grew up in northern Indiana and moved to Florida when I was sixteen.  After marrying my high school sweetheart and having two children, I moved to Cincinnati Ohio.

My first writing success was in sixth grade when I wrote a short story that got great praise.  I took creative writing workshops and continued to write all through my school years.  I took a hiatus from writing to raise a family and start a business.  I rekindled my passion in 2015 and started to blog and write short stories again.  In 2020 I completed my first full manuscript, Poasttown. 

I find writing fun and scary at the same time.  There is something about being vulnerable that pushes me to be more creative, bold and transparent in my writing.  I use the fear to push myself to the edge, like anticipating the first hill on a giant roller coaster.
